Tuesday and Wednesday are club meetings. Tuesday, the Student Ambassadors have a meeting and Wednesday SGA has their meeting.

Think On It

TSTC Marshall has a clear message for the community: Don't Drink and Drive.

This week they will have many activities dedicated to spreading this message.

Tuesday, March 1- Kickoff Event- The Demolition- This is a demonstration of what it would be like to be in a car accident under the influence. Students will taken through the steps of a field sobriety test. Also, look for the "walking dead". It sends a message death could be a result of drinking and driving.

Wednesday, March 2- Lori Essary from East Texas Council of Alcohol and Drug Awareness will speak to students.Please come and show your support.

Also, check out the Commitment Wall and Card in the South Building.

Make A Friend Day is Friday, February, 11,2011 at 6 PM.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet new people. There will be a cookout complete with smores. Games 2 U will be there offering Laser Tag and Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Spring 2011 Workshops and Events

The Learning Success Center, along with the Student Counselor will be hosting workshops for the Spring 2011 semester.

Money Management Workshop with Woodforest National Bank will be Wednesday, February 9,2011 at 12 pm in Room 515.

"Think On It Workshop" with ETCADA will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at noon in Room 515
Come find out what "it" is.
A "Think On It" testimonial will be Wednesday, March 2,2011 at 4 pm on TSTC grounds with our own O.L. Kelly.

"Think On It Workshop Part 2" with ETCADA will be Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at noon in Room 515. This seminar will feature further exploration of what "It" is.

Christmas Cards for Recovering Soldiers

Go by Dawn Cunningham's office (S Bldg 235) to sign a Christmas Card for a Recovering Soldier!

Help TSTC bring in the Holiday Spirit to Troops that are not getting to go home for the Holidays. This can be such a hard time for these men and women who are serving our country.

Allegiance Learning Solutions will be on campus Wednesday, November 10, 2010. They will be interviewing students from 10 AM to 1:30 PM near the Visitors entrance and the Internet Cafe.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In recognition of this month Student Activities and the Campus Activity Board will be selling Awareness memorabilia to use year round. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Susan G Komen Cancer Foundation!

Tuesday, October 19 is the second annual Pink Out Day so plan to wear pink. Lunch will be served in 515 conference room.
